Soil Moisture Probes: what they measure and how they sit
Two probes on one cellular device, buried at the depths your roots live, reporting moisture, temperature, and EC every hour. A pH probe is available on its own device. The dashboard trends every reading so you see what fell, what soaked in, and what the ground is holding.

- 0 to 20,000 µS/cm, resolution 1 µS/cm, accuracy 2% of full scale
- Reporting
- Every 60 minutes, with downloadable data and trends
The probes
- Two probes per device as standard, and up to four, so one device can read two or more depths in the same spot, or two spots a cable length apart.
- Buried at depth. Dig to the depth you want, push the probe into the undisturbed side wall of the hole so it reads soil that has not been loosened, and backfill. A second probe deeper down shows how far a rain or irrigation soaked in.
- The pH probe is a separate device with one pH probe, for ground where acidity is the question.
- The device mounts on a post nearby with its antenna upright, and the cables run underground to the probes.
