Weather Station: what it measures and what ships
An all-in-one weather sensor with no moving parts, a 20 W solar panel, and a cellular power-and-communications unit. It reports rainfall, rain rate, wind speed and direction, temperature, and humidity every 15 minutes, and works out a fire-danger index and Delta-T from them.

- Measures
- Rainfall, rain rate, wind speed, average wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity
- Derived
- Fire-danger index and Delta-T
- Sensing
- Ultrasonic for wind and radar for rain; no moving parts
- Reporting
- New data every 15 minutes
- Power
- 20 W solar panel; a mains-powered build is available on request
- Add-ons
- Solar radiation, particulate matter, barometric pressure, and others on a custom build
What it measures

- Rainfall and rain rate, by radar, so there is no tipping bucket to level or clean.
- Wind speed, average wind speed, and wind direction, by ultrasonic sensing, with no cups or vane to seize.
- Temperature and humidity.
- Fire-danger index and Delta-T, calculated from the readings, so spray windows and fire risk are a glance rather than a sum.
Data arrives every 15 minutes. Add-on sensors (solar radiation, particulate matter, barometric pressure, and others) are built in on a custom station; the product page lists the full set.
What is in the box

Mount the station on a 2 in pole in the open, clear of buildings and trees that would shade the panel or shelter the sensor from the wind. The sensor head is the highest point; the panel faces the sun.
What the app shows

- Mobile and desktop access, with unlimited users on the account.
- Historical data and downloadable reports.
- Custom alerts on any reading: a wind-speed alarm before spraying, a temperature alarm for frost, a rain alert at the far place.
